SPECK IS A VERY PERSONABLE 5-6 # POM.HE IS 11.5 YRS OLD,HIS TEETH ARE NOT IN GREAT SHAPE.HE IS MISSING A CPL OF THE FRONT TEETH BETWEEN THE CANINES.HIS EYES USUALLY APPEAR CLOUDY,HE HAS A HABIT OF BEING FIGITY WITH HIS HIND LEGS(ie;shifting from 1to the other,appearing to stretch or scratch)IT IS A HABIT,NOT DISCOMFORT.SPECK HAS ,DUE TO AGE,SOME WHITE MINGLED THROUGH HIS CHEST & UNDERSIDE AS WELL AS AROUND HIS LITTLE NOSE.HE IS USUALLY VERY ANIMATED HOWEVER DUE TO SEPARATION MAY APPEAR LETHARGIC,HARD OF HEARING,& OR BLIND.HE SHUTS THE WORLD OUT.THE BIGGEST CONCERN IS THAT SPECK WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A BRAIN TUMOR @ 5YRS OF AGE & STRESS TENDS TO ENCITE STROKE-LIKE ATTACKS THEREIN CAUSING :blindness,parallysis,dimentia,restlessness,& dangerous lack of appetite & fluid intake.THESE ATTACKS GENERALLY LAST 7-9 DAYS & THERFORE HAS TO HAVE ROUND THE CLOCK ATTENTION,FORCED LIQUIDS,COERCED NUTRION.I ALWAYS SAW HIM THRU EACH & EVERY ONE WITHOUT DARING TO SLEEP BEING AFRAID HE WOULD HURT HIMSELF BECAUSE HE BECOMES COMBATIVE AND SEEMS TO TRY TO CAUSE HIMSELF HARM.I WOULD TAKE PEPSI & PEDIALYTE,MIX THEM TOGETHER AND TRANSFER FROM MY MOUTH TO HIS LITTLE MOUTH JUST ENOUGH TO GET HIM TO SWALLOW WITHOUT CHOKING.HE ALWAYS KNEW I'D TAKE CARE OF HIM.AT THIS TIME,MY VETS WILL NOT PROVIDE ME WITH FURTHER MEDS DUE TO AGE,& EXTENT OF PROBLEM BUT I CAN SMELL HIS BREATH & WATCH HIS DEMEANOR & KNOW IT IS COMING & I GIVE HIM 1/2 BABY ASPRIN EVERY 6 HRS & IF IT BECOMES FUTILE.1/4 RYMIDYL.HE HAD JUST REGAINED VISION,CO-ORDINATION & GENERALLY FEELING BETTER THAN IN YEARS WHEN HE WAS TAKEN FROM ME. |
